Re: Side luggage bags
I bought the Cortech line of bags. The saddle bags and the tail bag. As the picture shows they fit quite well and I am very happy with the
anti slip pads that protect the bikes finish. My latest trip 2100Km and no damage to the plastics.
Shad also makes some and they look to be of quality but never seen them first hand.

Yes those are the Super 2.0 bags with the 24L tail bag.
Mel46, I do like my long rides, the picture is when I went to Prince George BC last spring. Averaged 500km per day. Need to learn how to pack lighter though. On that trip I had 95 lbs of gear.

Re: Side luggage bags
My concern would be someone stealing the contents in the saddlebags/tunnel bag or the bags themselves. I've been looking at the lockable hard side case/trunks on previous feeds, however the producers are not based in the USA and do not seem to ship here. Any recommendations?

In all my years of motorcycling, I have never had anything taken off of my bike. Never. Never lost anything in a camp ground either.kamakanaola808 wrote:My concern would be someone stealing the contents in the saddlebags/tunnel bag or the bags themselves. I don't think it did. I had no trouble keeping up with traffic. Cruising speed was 95 to 105 kmph.easyrider wrote:Looks like a considerable amount of air drag. Does it slow you down much ?

I got my saddle bags and tailbag today. I had some trouble finding the clips to secure it. So far, I can't figure out how to secure the front of the bags. I see your straps are going under the side panels. How have your rigged it? Thanks! For tomorrow's ride I will leave the tail bag off.

Hi Mark, and everyone who is interested in Cortech saddle bags. I did a short video on how I attach them to the bike. Sorry for the orientation of the screen, still getting used to my phone.
