Re: NCY transmission kit
Did you change the rollers and drive face? I replaced my rollers with 13 gm rollers. I haven't changed out the drive face yet. What was the top speed before you changed everything out? You can't expect too much of a change from a little scooter. I have a 150 cc vs your 125 cc. As I understand it on mine, changing the variator, drive face, and rollers will give me perhaps 10 mph increase in top end. That is about it unless you do something drastic to it.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Re: NCY transmission kit
That kit wasn't so super was it... here is what you needed for 78 mph on stock rubber, with the 13 gram rollers, I didn't like the 12's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NRc9g3Daswscooter steve wrote:I changed everything in the super transmission kit variator rollers drive face 13g weights clutch and bell and spring all so honda drive belt acceleration is a lot better just same top speed

Re: NCY transmission kit
If you have the items in the video, you can't install rollers incorrectly into that setup and if your belt is the proper one that only leaves the clutch. I have never replaced the clutch on PCX so I have no idea if that is were you are losing the speed. With a stock clutch and those NYC items and the right belt you should easily get 70+ mph with the 2013's even with oversized tires. Is your speedo wacked? Use your phones GPS to see actual speed. Is your RPM what it should be?scooter steve wrote:That's what I have fitted so here is the killer question how can I get 70 mph + I all so fitted the clutch

Re: NCY transmission kit
Hope that's gets you up to speed... your 2013 is faster than my 2015 given all parts are the same. I installed the NYC products you see in the vid but kept the stock clutch and belt. I can just get to 70 on a good downhill BECAUSE I have the biggest tires you can fit on stock PCX rims. I could fly if I put the spindly IRC's back on but 68 is fast enough for me

Re: NCY transmission kit
Is it the correct belt? If it was slightly small it would not reach the top of the pulley.
It's worth checking but probably a long shot.

Re: NCY transmission kit
Have you still got the old belt? If it's in reasonable condition refit it and see what speed you get. Is the part number still readable on it if you have it?

Re: NCY transmission kit
The part number I get is
23100-KZR-601
That's for a 2013 WW125D
Check the chassis number to verify this.

I think that will do it... whilst we wait for the refit I've done a little tooling on the vespa, hows it look? She will do 160 on the flats
