Honda PCX 125 2016 UK release date?

Post by i29 »

Hi all,

New to the forums... I have a question about when and if the new 2016 PCX 125 is hitting the UK anytime soon?

I have just put a deposit down for a 2015 PCX after my Piaggio Typhoon 125 died on me. I cant find any real news articles about the 2016 version. If the bike is out soon can you tell me the differences or send me a link to read and if there is a point to me waiting?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jack

Don't think there's a new version in the pipeline, the models are not routinely changed every year.
No point in waiting but are you sure about a PCX?
The Yamaha Nmax has ABS and longer service intervals.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I have looked at the Nmax but do not like the styling at all.
I have also put a deposit down with the Honda dealership.
A friend in Thailand made me interested in the PCX after telling me its a great bike so i am going with his recommendation.

Thanks for answering my question mate.

People reported here, and posted pics somewhere, that in parts of the world such as Thailand?, the new '16 models are keyless and now some form of electronic ignition. Not sure if that will make it's way to Europe as some things are not fitted here, such as the alarm unit.
