Thanx for this post, installed a short givi today in less than ten minute's, without it i would have taken all day trying
to get the plastic panel off without breaking it. Once again thank you.
Our new Givi windscreen (the short one) is a huge improvement and I can't imagine keeping the OEM version! The wind still hits my shoulders and helmet, but I no longer feel like I'm fighting to keep my hands on the bars. I'd have to say that it isn't much help for cold hands however. Maddiedog- have you seen any images of the hand guards installed on a motorcycle/scooter? I was out in 38 degrees today and it wasn't bad, but I'd definitely be interested if they would provide an inexpensive solution. If they look cool, that would be a bonus.

Hand guards look a lot cooler, but whether they'll keep your hands out of the blast is a gamble. Heated gloves are awesome apparently, but expensive. Heated grips work well for shorter trips, but on longer trips your finger tips freeze anyway.
So far, the only options that I've heard will keep your hands warm in all conditions are muffs like these, and heated clothing/gloves.
I had tried the Oxford muffs they used to do before. They just got in the way and i felt they were plain dangerous. At least you can return things easily to Amazon if you dont like em

I mounted it for function more than looks, and it functions great. I may buy a smaller one eventually, but I haven't seen another that I liked enough to do the switch yet.

maddiedog, just tall enough, how tall is that?
I'm looking for a windshield, I've been driving Honda's FES150 and FES250 bigger scooters and they had windscreens just tall enough for me to look over them and be able to ride with my visor up. I really love that. My concern is that when I buy the GIVI 322 it is too low and I get the full wind in my face, with the GIVI 323 that it is too high and I have to look through the plastic.
Hmm, I look over it, not through it, and I'm 5'10".
I can ride with the visor up no problem, but if I flip the modular part of my helmet up, the helmet catches the wind.
The smaller Givi shield doesn't do too much, I got a full blast of wind in my chest / head when I test-rode Pete (Kapang!)'s PCX to compare the windshields. I currently have the Ermax short windshield on (same as the one Scottish has here: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=210#p2266), but it doesn't provide enough protection, so I will be switching back as soon as I get a chance.

Picked up a used but excellent Givi 322st, fitted for the 25 mile return journey.
Accelerates quicker and doing the 40/50mph zones in Surrey/West London were very comfortable. The wind is hitting at collarbone level, I'm 5' 10"ish and helmet (full face flip) is quieter inside but you hear more wind at the top of the screen, if that makes sense. I noticed my speed was creeping over in town so must be feeling better in general
FedEx delivered my new windshield today, along with some new Sliders pants. Thanks to this excellent thread, I installed the windscreen in about 10 minutes. Easy peasy, lemon squezie!!!
Now just waiting on the backordered Givi plate and top case and the scoot will be perfect.

How do you keep it so clean? My car is metallic black and it doesn't look this clean 10 minutes after I've washed it
