Honda Windsheild Windscreen for Sale

Just bought a new windscreen for my PCX150... for me, it's too short! I'm 5'8", and I have to bend down about 6" to get any benefit (quiet! calm air!).
So now I'm ready to sell it cheap. Anyone want a genuine Honda windscreen? I paid $299, but I'm willing to take any reasonable offer.

You'd have a potential customer here -me- if you weren't at the other side of the pond, customs (Spanish customs, I mean) weren't a PITA, and if shipping it from the US wouldn't be kind of pricey. Here they charge over 190€ for that windshield. In my opinion is the best looking one for the PCX, but way too expensive.

I'm 5 ft 9", so we're pretty much the same height. It sounds a bit strange that you're not happy with it. People who are my height say that the short Givi does its job at protecting the chest and that, well, they do get airflow diverted to their helmets, but I can live with that with my modular helmet. Visor down, problem solved. Is this airflow to your head what bothers you?.

Of course you have alternatives out there. Taller Givi or Ermax, for instance, but there's no comparison, IMHO, with the looks the original Honda one offers. I'd think it twice, honestly .

I did think about it. Figured I'd spend the $ on the nice looking, and (I'd hoped) FUNCTIONAL Honda. The tall GIVI is UGLY! But, it's more about function (right MADDIEDOG?). Anyway, how the heck do you know until you try it?? With the Honda, I could find the sweet spot where it was QUIET (that is HUGE!) and no wind (I have a half helmet with goggles). It was SO much more enjoyable being scooched down about 6"... I could easily see OVER the screen as well! I'd hoped I could maybe get an adjustable, but it seems there isn't one for the PCX. So, I'm going to wait 4 weeks for the tall GIVI (from Compacc). Maybe I'll need to cut it down a bit to find that sweet spot. But I can't raise the Honda...

You could buy a windscreen spoiler that clamps on top or that you drill and bolt on top of your current Honda screen. But they are so expensive when you include decent clamps. So you are better off buying a tall windscreen in the first place. My Ermax +25 is a few inches taller than the short Givi and a few inches shorter than the tall Givi and suits me fine and Im 6'3". Im guessing your Honda screen is similar to the short Givi. I taped over the gap at bottom of the windscreen and that cuts down on noise and buffeting.

How does this screen mount? I'm seeing 4 exposed mounting screws/bolts that don't appear to use the standard PCX screen mount points. I'm a little disappointed if this is an actual Honda PCX aftermarket accessory. Here in Thailand have been struggling to get a GIVI screen and actually thought about getting the Honda screen like this one without actually seeing it. Luckily, my local,Honda dealer had no information the item. I would have been disappointed with this one, think I'll wait for the GIVI to be imported.

It comes with mounting brackets which attach to the original. Nothing wrong with the windscreen! Just a bad size for me!
