The bottom picture is a variator, drive face and rollers. The top picture looks a lot like a a clutch assembly. I'm confused. Is the second picture suppose to be what was in the first picture? They are two different items. I couldn't say whether it will help improve your pickup or not, because I don't know the brand, the roller weight or what the clutch assembly is suppose to do for it. Some members have changed out their clutch assembly, and some have not. I changed out my variator, drive face, and weights (using NCY parts). My top end has increased. The weight of the rollers seems to be the key to better takeoff.

The seller is either taking hallucinogenic drugs or is a liar.

It's a possibility you might see those speeds, others have claimed such improvements; however, it appears that the lower picture is a variator kit, and the top, as Mel said, is a rear clutch assembly. Not to muddy the waters too much, but a CVT actually operates by using two different types of centrifugal clutch: The Variator in the front, and a spring loaded clutch in the back.

I'm confused as to why the top kit (the one for the rear pulley), has its own rollers. Does it recommend using those rollers instead of the ones that came with the variator? You can always experiment and see which works better, though.
