i am a new member here, live in nashville TN. was wanting a scooter really bad and looking at all the ones out there and decided i wanted a good brand name scooter no chinese junk so i did some research and watched several youtube videos and started to really love the pcx. finding this forum was a large part of my decision in going for a pcx. Finally after applying for financing ( i have really bad credit) the honda shop financed me at 217 a month for 24 months i can live with that. i just payed my down payment today and they said it should arrive from the wharehouse this week. cant wait! i'll post pics in the gallery as soon as i get it. its candy apple red
Oh yeah im 5'11 240 pounds hope it moves good enough for me hehe
You should be fine -- me + my wife + our dog ride 3-up sometimes, totalling just over 340lbs including gear. My PCX 125 still will do 45+mph up the gradual hills we have here with that kind of load. The suspension isn't too happy, but the suspension's a bit hard even 1-up.
If anything, your height will cause some issue. You might have to remove the hump if you don't have enough legroom.
Currently ride: Nothing right now - mostly mountain biking with my boys until they're old enough to ride Previously rides: 2011 Honda PCX 125, 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes
