I bought a PCX150 last week and took it out to a local lake in central Texas for the Labor Day weekend. Put 63 miles on it. Enjoying it immensely. Here's a photo of my "new toy" strapped to the back of my "old toy."

Hi maddiedog. Thanks for the welcome. You're right.....I see us getting out a lot more with the RV so we can put more miles on the scooter. It will be awesome for enjoying the local sights around the campsites. It is pretty amazing to think about the difference in the gas mileage!
The rack is not custom, though it did require some "adjustments" to accommodate the scooter. Due to the low ground clearance of the scooter and the angle from the ground to the rack, they had to cut the end of the rack and ramp from 90-degrees to 30-degree angles on the ends to provide clearance. Once that was done, it was relatively easy to guide the scooter up the ramp on to the rack. Here are links for the same rack and ramp I purchased but I paid considerably less than shown on this website. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/ ... -Rack.aspx http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/ ... p-Kit.aspx
I'm still thinking about getting a small utility trailer to carry the scooter, along with other outdoor/camping gear (canoe, propane grill, chairs, etc). Take care!

If you end up getting a utility trailer, I've put over 10000 miles on my Harbor Freight trailer with no issues whatsoever. I got it on sale + a coupon for under $300. Here's the one I have: http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive ... 94564.html
