Belt and rollers

Post by Decco-Pcx-125 »

I have a pcx 125 2013 - I am worried about buying the wrong belt and rollers as there are so many different ones and I can't seem to find the ones in looking for plus the manual doesn't tell you what size and weight the rollers are so I can't buy the right ones - plus everything is complete oem nothing is uprated what so ever

Belt

23100-KZR-6010-M1 - this is what it says on my belt.

Plus I would like standard rollers + weight + size dementions

Thanks guys :)

How many miles have you done?

The Honda belt part number is here: http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces- ... X+125.html

Rollers here: http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces- ... X+125.html
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I've done 9892 miles - but when I have the clutch off to grease up the bearings and everything the rollers looked warn and the belt has cracks in it so I thought I'd replace while still running instead of being stuck somewhere wondering what the hell is going on lol

Hold on there cowboy... if you are going in to grease stuff you will need a service manual. There are 4 things to check or replace to gain back factory performance out of the drive train. Minimum tolerances are listed if they don't need to be replaced as stated in the SM.

Poor performance at high speed or lack of power...
1. worn drive belt
2. weak driven face spring
3. worn weight rollers
4. contaminated pulley faces <----- this is not a grease friendly environment

Do you have the service manual? All the wear tolerances for various parts are listed in the SM for 2013 PCX. OEM parts found in the catalog GN was showing you.

The clutch bearings were greased as when the back wheel was being spun it was making a very noisy sound now it has been greased up it isn't making the noise - plus I do have a service manual -

I've placed an order from Honda for new belt and rollers as previously stated the belt is cracking and the rollers looked worn - I'm getting just over 60mph - usually 62mph max don't know if this is normal but pull off speed is pretty good I'm not a light person so I expect it will affect it I'm 14 stone lol and 6ft 3-4 so I guess you have to put that into comparison lol and no I always make sure I know what I'm doing I never go in blind lol :) sure show me the catalog

It's linked above in PDF if you didn't notice, keep us informed on what you learn about wear @ 10k. I believe the OEM rollers I removed from a 2015 were 16gram but that can't be taken as fact for a 2013 as yours was a faster bike without the recent changes to engine and drive chain by Honda. The stock top speed for me was 64 mph off the lot. To be clear when you are done you should go several miles per hour over 64 on a grade regardless your mass.
