Re: KTM 125 Duke.
I've come up with another idea - keep the pcx so I've got a frugal, practical bike and see if I can find a decent KTM 690 R. The 690's go for about £5500 - £6000 for a decent one.
Re: KTM 125 Duke.
Good idea save for one thing.
A KTM 690 R is a steaming pile of turds compared to other options which cost much less.

It's one of the best bikes I've ridden. We're you in a bad mood when you tried one?
Re: KTM 125 Duke.
Haven't ridden one, I just don't like them.
Or anything that has a touch of "off-road" about it.

Re: KTM 125 Duke.
That seems like a silly reason to not like a bike.

Re: KTM 125 Duke.
I've just signed away the KTM and the PCX
I got £3800 trade in for the two against a brand new 690. That's a better price than I was expecting. I will really miss the pcx - I have it for another week before I get the 690 so I'll have to get as many groceries as I can before then.
Anybody interested in my bar muffs or the givi tunnel bag? In my opinion the bar muffs a 'must have' for UK winters, the Givi tunnel bag is not my favourite thing in the World but it has its uses.

I can understand why you may think it silly, however that's the way it is.maddiedog wrote:That seems like a silly reason to not like a bike.

Not sure how the figure was split between the bikes. They now have it for sale at £3195!
