I mounted up a B40- A118C dashcam yesterday evening.
This DVR is a capacitor version (no internal battery).
It takes halfway decent video/audio and is totally hands-off.
It powers up and starts recording as soon as I turn on the ignition.
....and stops recording, powers down when I turn it off.
I currently have a 32GB micro-SD installed.
Total investment about $50.
