WELCOME! break in is only 300 miles, you should be sailing over that any day. Consider your warranty demands at 600, make the decision to do it yourself or not. Take note there are better tires/tyres/terr's to be had for a more confident grip on your roads... and stay off the incident list below please

My experience was a drop in mpg from something crazy like 114 to mid 90's. This could be something mechanical I don't understand or more likely confidence and comfort will have you getting on it after break in drawing down your mpg. btw there are known issues that can develop in the clutch (glazing) for those who never get on it so don't baby a twist-n-go too long. 87 octane, no more these are not built to burn hotter fuel.

Nope not changed tyres Yet! Got 280 miles on the clock. Tyres still look OK with hardly any drop in pressure.
Had to top up with distilled water, blooming awkward so had to inject it.
Looking at the brake fluid that is going, probably due to the hills and ups and downs.
Do I have to remove something to look at the chain?
Chain?! Is there a chain? Only picked mine up this morning, but even with the 40-45mph running in cap, what a hoot to ride. The smile is ear to ear, helped no end by the sunshine and dry roads. Must get back out there....

There is no chain to check people except the timing one which you will not see until you do your valve check and it requires no maintenance to my knowledge. There is a belt and it requires no adjustment either. You guys can get service manuals if you want. Very helpful to have one, about 50 bucks here in the states.
