Wife getting the biker bug
My wife went for a free taster session today to see if she liked riding, after about 30 minutes of trying to lift her feet up she was flying around and looking good. Booked the CBT now so it looks like I may lose the PCX. I want a bigger bike anyway, looking at a Yamaha FJR1300 or Kawasaki GTR 1400 grand tourer

I love the FJR1300. Have you looked at the ST1300? I'd love to have one.
You could always get a 2nd PCX too.

Re: Wife getting the biker bug
yeah, i'd definitely go with the FJR over the ST! the FJR has a huge following. the ST, not so much!
I used to have a BMW R1100RT. it was very comfortable but I have now gone to a lighter more efficient touring bike. a F800GS.

My wife's got the motorcycle bug too. She wants one real bad. Gonna have to get her one I guess. Then I'll get to ride it too :-) Since I've only got the PCX right now.

Re: Wife getting the biker bug
Had a test ride on the ST1300, very nice bike and extremely comfy, I read that the suspension arm can be a problem on the FJR if it's not looked after, the ST has the infamous high speed wobble which seems to happen due to a top box causing a vortex behind the bike. I have read various reasons.

The Suzuki GSX 1250 is much better value.unwinder wrote:looking at a Yamaha FJR1300 or Kawasaki GTR 1400 grand tourer
