Rear wheel bearing sizes and bearing numbers

Post by m0nde »

My daughter has a 2011 Honda PCX 125. I know the Honda part numbers but seek the bearing numbers and dimensions if possible.

The Honda bearing prices seem to be double the price most bearing cost a bearing suppliers.

Thanks

Re: Rear wheel bearing sizes and bearing numbers

I am having a problem finding all of the paperwork from when they tore our bike down and pressed out the bearing. There are actually two bearings that are affected but I can only find one in the listing because they had to send off for the other one separately as it was not a standard part. What I do have are the following test that were replaced:

Part Number Description
91009-KVY-961 bearing (6902U)
91211-KN7-671 Seal (2) (34x41x4)
91351-GR1-000 O-Ring (38.5x2)
91351-642-000 O-Ring, Pinion cap
23237-KWN-900 Collar, seal
23226-KVB-900 Roller Guide (3)

I hope this helps. Sorry that I can't be of more help.

These numbers are for the driven clutch have bearing. If you are looking for rear wheel bearing itself, I don't even know where to start looking. Sorry.

I see this is your first post.
Welcome to the forum Nigel. First of all, the rear wheel bearings are usually not failing, but the clutch/driven face of the CVT bearings are prone to fail early. This is what Mel has assumed and gave their numbers to you.
Some of th online sources list the bearing or seal parameters too I suggest to try and find the info on any of the online parts places or corellate.
In case you provide us with your location, and what bearings exactly are you after, we'll try to help further.

m0nde,
There are needle roller bearings and a standard non-sealed bearing in the 'face set driven' part as a whole. From what I see you would be able to replace with proper bearings but who sells just the bearings? Mel's right the kit for your year 2011-2013 is 23205-KWN-640

recommend you put the whole assembly if you can get it.

Not sure what Homie was linking b/c the link doesn't work. Below is an example someone linked on another forum. It's on an elite lead 110. That clutch inner is cheap at less than $30, and can be found here:

Even though that video is off an elite 110' it's the same problem and the same part.

That bearing kit came with loads of rubber seals and two tubes of grease - is that normal? Not seen those included in any other video to do with the actual PCX part (but maybe I missed them)?

The bearing inside the rear pulley comes with grease if you ordered it from Honda.
The normal bearing with 2 seals is regulated by standard bearing dimensions guidance. It's a 6902U.
The needle bearing is Honda special. I think they only have the NTN brand at honda dealers. Its dimension is 20x29x18.

Sorry, even more confused now :) - if we order part '8' as it's become known to replace the final drive bearing as one unit, I thought they would all be the same as it's supposed to be a Honda part(s).

Iceman - you're good. BPT has talked about the individual bearings (as requested in the OP) installed on the driven pulley shaft. These are pre installed in "part 8".

Don't be, I'm talking about the specs that OP asked.
If you ordered the "8" bit it should comes preinstalled, no need to worry about anything, at least that's how Honda does it over here. If they don't assemble them for you, take it to any machine shop, they'll know what to do.
