Storage Space of PCX150

Regarding the storage space under the seat of the PCX150, is there enough room for say, a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread? Would these items better fit a storage box mounted to the seat? I will never have any riders, so I'm thinking of adding the storage box anyway to provide additional space to the below the seat space. If you were to mention some of the items you use this space for, it would give me a good idea as to the size of the space for either the below the seat or a Honda OEM storage box.

I routinely carry groceries underneath the seat, there is plenty a room for several loaves of bread and milk if that's what you want to put under there.

Try it out with the stock storage. If you need more then look at your options.
Sounds like you want to downsize? why start thinking bigger already?
Bread- milk packed a lot of that on my bike no problem even some beer

I used to be able to store an XL full face helmet and a pair of (textile armoured knee thermal linered) motorcycle trousers together in mine.

In regards to relics post, I'm looking at getting into the sport for the first time. So "downsizing" is not the issue here. As for options (top box), I'd like to get what I need/want right from the get-go out the dealership door. As for my storage space question, I'd like the scooter to be both fun and useful. Some summer Sunday morning, should I find myself needing a dozen eggs, a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread for breakfast, I don't want to be limited to having to take the pick-up the 6 miles to the store. I'd like to be able to enjoy a scooter ride and also be able to get what I need without any trouble.

there is also the concept of a backpack...Not ideal, but for the once every couple of month need, pretty effective. And what you have mentioned so far - quite easily doable in the PCX.

I have the Forza which has a bigger but awkwardly shaped underseat storage. It is really two separate spaces. I put a huge 55 litre Givi E55 Maxia 3 top box on the back. It probably looks ugly but I don't care. I like the Givi space but the top box is made of too many pieces and it rattles.

I have two PCX 150s and we use them for all sorts of purposes, one of them being to make runs to the grocery store. I put a tailbox on both so that we could store our helmets in them, with our jackets going under our seats. With the combination of under seat storage and the tailbox I can store 3 or 4 bags of groceries on the bike. Also, the tailbox is removable, so if you are worried about having it on when not in use, don't worry.
I have the tall GIVI windshield on each bike as well, which makes it nice while we ride, but also nice when we stop somewhere temporarily because I can store my gloves in the area between the windshield and console, and set my helmet on the console, leaning against the windshield.
In short, the PCX has a lot of storage, but you should increase it for 'just in case' purposes. It won't hurt your gas mileage to add them either.

Rick the easy way is to keep a expandable backpack under the seat just in case you need "extra" storage

If you want more storage space under the seat, forget the PCX150, and get the Honda Forza. Not only will you have underseat storage, you will be able to drive it on the interstate also
