When I owned my Harley, I loved it, but it was very temperamental when it was cold outside. I don't know how many times I cussed it out in the winter because it did not want to start. I am sure that fuel injection solved that problem though. At least, I hope it did.

Slight detore here, but I always wondered on bikes with those tall and wide handlebars where the rider has their arms high and out-stretched, well - don't their arms get tired and what's the point/advantage?

Ape bars have no advantage, no purpose, no point other than style and cosmetics. Makes a statement that you will not be going very far very fast and you might just crash if any evasive actions are needed

Like spinning hubcaps... pure show.

ape hangers-didn't know any one else new they were called that. Must admit every once in so often I can picture myself riding my PCX past some friends with a set installed-just for laughs

Now that we have taken a detour, I will keep us on it ....

I seems ape hangers aren't too safe because some jurisdictions, such as New York State, do not permit handlebars to be more than the height of the operator's shoulders.

I think Ape bars should be mandatory equipment on snow mobiles after learning where the idea originated from

that was a very interesting video. Every year someone in Wisconsin runs up on a low hanging wire or rope and darn near decapitates themselves.
