No, you are not the king of overfill.eggman wrote:I'm the king of overfilling
Beloved member megb filled his oil up to the threads on the dip stick and over heated his engine by working the moving parts through this colossal overfill for some time before asking why his engine was having issues

I know exactly what you are seeing, watch me try and fail several times. It creeps up if you don't hold in a downward position or you touch it on the tunnel pulling out.eggman wrote:weird thing about my dipstick is on one side its just right on the other ide its low lol

Re: oil oil oil
It's one or 2 ounces between the lowest # and the highest #, give it a 360° twist when you lay it on top of the threads and read the average

Re: oil oil oil
When you check your oil first make sure your bike is on the center stand. Take the dip stick out and wipe it off. Then put it back in but do not screw it in. Pull it out and check the level. The level should be between the hi and low marks. Simple.

Re: oil oil oil
watching the video it reminded me of checking the oil in my Honda lawn mower, always difficult to see where the level is.

Re: oil oil oil
Perhaps a longer neck and longer dipstick would make checking much easier - it is tucked away and awquard to check and fill up, especially as Honda say check evey day
