# sold annually

Post by super_g »

I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea of how many PCX's were sold annually by Honda.

A lot.
2,000(ish) a year in the UK alone.
It's commercially sensitive information so I doubt Honda will be shouting it from the rooftops.

Don't know the exact figures, but I can tell you the PCX was the best seller here during 2011, and third one during 2012 so far, with the Kymco Downtown (called Superdink here) in the lead.

They're selling heaps of them.

Very weird that in the UK the Downtown hardly sells at all.
I have only ever seen one of them, there are less than 80 on the road in the UK.

If you ride something called the "Superdink" here in the USA you will be laughed at. Heck, even the "People" scooter makes no sense to me. Agility is a good name though. So is Downtown.

A scooter called People makes just as much sense as a "People's Car"

They manufacture engines for BMW amongst others, Kymco's build quality is on a par with the PCX.
