Geez it's November, Already!

Post by WhiteNoise »

Not happy :(
I will try to ride into December. Temps, weather willing.
Next up Thanksgiving.
Then Christmas.
Snow? Ice? Ugh yeah. They're like side-dishes.

Ride all year round - if it's a bit icey then I take it easy and look ahead and slow down when needed - this is at 2am going to work and in heavy traffic coming home at 6pm - dark, pot-holed roads and dipping to -deg's - IRC's tyres :) (not good for the cleanliness of the bike, never looked as good as yours WN part a few weeks from new)

btw - I used to ride to work with cold hands (soon to fit handguards now I have a mini blowtorch to remove the bar end bolts!) but I now use cheap disposable vinyl gloves as inner gloves and my fingers are fine at 30-40mph - my chest and shoulds are often cold despite t-shirt, fleece, thermal lined motorcycle jacket and waterproof - so vinyl gloves are a wonder as an extra lining.

Still riding in Toronto, bright sunny day and even when it was colder, I found that balaclava I wear for snowmobiling keeps my neck and head warm. Also, my rain suit keeps the wind and chill out.... all I really need is some grip warmers... LOL

Fantastic sunny 54 degrees in world series land! I think a good day to put in liners and shuffle the cold weather gear to the top of the drawer.

87112, I'm ignoring your last sentence. Against forum rules. It will stay as is. Tis a warning.
As far as changing the clocks..."Fall Back, Spring Ahead," I fully agree. It's a p.i.t.a. What's worse is that my automatic clocks change way before the due date. So my whole schedule gets knocked out of whack till I recognize and correct them. :x Pain!!
