I don't know who started the rumor that white was faster. Just because you can't see the red ones because they are so fast, and the white ones are slow enough to be seen, does not mean that white is faster. It just means that white is 'visibly' the fastest.
Those of us who have red ones know that. :-)

You will love the Cox. Wait till you fill it up and get 100mpg! I'm excited for you. I have the 2015 in the white one and still think it's the fastest,or at least it is when I'm on it. Ha,ha
My PCX is red with a white tail piece. I can say categorically that this combination of colors in this arrangement and ratio is faster than either red or white unmixed.

Hey Zonker, you need to get that fixed. You will have tensile forces building up as the red will want to pull away from the white bit. With all the work hardening your tail end will fall off. You have been warned.
Other rides
Yamaha MT-01, Yamaha BT1100, Yamaha WR250R, Ducati 900 GTS, Honda VFR 750FV, Honda Forza 350

My 2013 model includes both red and white panels. Honda called it the maple leaf edition. Either they were using up some of their extra pieces or were just catering to us compromising Canadians?
Will say I did leave some of the red stuff off after doing a full service.
