I like how you didn't waste time fiddling with it. Apparently from past posts there's no good way to open a PCX seat without a key. I would like more detail on what you did to break in, maybe pictures too? I approve of your decisive and immediate resolution. Now lets get the parts and repair the damage
He flat out muscled it off, bare hands like a real man A breed of ancestral gene quite rare these days. Actually it's nice to know. In a pinch I could wave down a neanderthal and get my bike running. Better than pushing or leaving it to be stolen. I salute the guy after seeing this post too many times with no resolution.
Did that once myself, very irritating to say the least. Had to get a bus home in my riding gear, pick up a spare key and go back !
I now keep an extra bike key with my house bunch just in case...
actually you can lift up the seat ever so much and fish the keys out. I did this on my 2013 as the seat is not a tight close. I don't think I can do this on my 2016.
Welcome back ScooterKim! Glad to know that you're still enjoying a PCX. The 2016 is a bit different from your previous '13. Do you like it better?

I am new to this post but would like to see the diagram for cable to pull for getting into my seat as my only set of keys are locked in there.. I have a 2017 and there is no wiggle room to lift seat. Is there a way for you to reach out to me without posting my email address?
