Trunk box for 2017
Does anyone know if Givi or Shad trunks for 2015/6 fit the new 2017s?

Re: Trunk box for 2017
Don't see why not. Just fitted one on my new 16. It's a givi mounting kit but an aftermarket box. YouTube has a video from a guy in Thailand fitting one. He just took out the mounting panel and bolted straight on but I drilled 4 holes through the cover, looks far neater, 10 mins on the drill press, easy. That cover wasn't on earlier ones, so we'll done Honda!!

Yes they do. I had a (stolen) 2015 and the same GIVIs fit my new 2017.

Thanks for the link....why are they so much cheaper than the Honda one? Are you just paying for the Honda name?

You'll also need to pay for the mounting rack... http://www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle/ho ... ack-detailSandymay wrote:Thanks for the link....why are they so much cheaper than the Honda one? Are you just paying for the Honda name?
And the Honda folks install it if you buy from them

I was looking at the Shad boxes and they include the mounting bracket with the box. The 37 litre I was looking at was $155 for a 2017. Color panels and back rests are optional at added cost.DailyRider wrote:You'll also need to pay for the mounting rack... http://www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle/ho ... ack-detailSandymay wrote:Thanks for the link....why are they so much cheaper than the Honda one? A lot of folks here have and recommend the Shad 39 liter. Just do a search for Shad.hondamatic wrote:I was looking at the Shad boxes and they include the mounting bracket with the box. Re: Trunk box for 2017
I fitted a GIVI E300 MONOLOCK® 30L TOPBOX CASE + PLATE (Micro 2 lock set) $129.00 on my 2015. I did not drill and refit the cover as drilling & refitting it serves no purpose as it did with the earlier models. Plus if I ever remove the top box the cover is perfect to just refit. Lots of space for the one helmet it holds with my gloves and glasses and small items around it also. A very easy fit up when not drilling the cover.
