I open the face shield when I'm stopped and leave it cracked open if I'm riding slowly.
In a cold rain, I sometimes also exhale by puffing downwards.
Beyond that, I have a helmet with excellent venting and a pinlock visor.

I wear contact lenses when I ride (seen some masty accidents involving mc riders wearing glasses) and have pinlock insert in my visor.

I wear glasses, too, and ride winters and rain in Ohio.
Tried several products...little success with any of them.
I ride with face shield cracked open, always, except warm days.
No fogging of glasses or shield.

You can always smear a little bit of washing up liquid and water on the inside of the visor with a cloth. That helps, cheap too.

I am blind without my glasses. I certainly can't leave them at home. Cat-Crap is a new one on me. Never heard of it but it seems to have some followers. I can clean my visor with Novus #1, inside and out, and that seems to help. Also, I wear a face gaiter or something else that will divert my breath away from my face shield. Heck, back in the old days we only had bubble shields on our helmets and we had the same problem but found solutions by looking for ways to divert our breath downward.

Cat Crap! Ooooo no.
The name alone and Inside my screen? Noooo
Just kidding, I bet the Crap works,
it's just not for moi.
I'm with the other peeps,...Kick it up a Notch! raise the screen one notch when stopped. Close it while riding and leave a vent or two open. (Adding this...don't be cold and distracted. Dress up!! "Layer your clothing" under your Armored gear. There's truth to that! Stay warm, be comfortable, be a safer rider).
Another bit: Helmet's vary with screen (notch) adjustments, some having more than others. The more adjustments, the better (imo). You don't want a large gap when you want only a small weeping gap to clear your screen of breathy fog. Keep it cracked not gapped.
P.S. Oh yeah, and keep yer screens clean....inside and out!
