i've been using dual 4 piston calipers front brake, and 1 piston caliper rear brake and i feel safe under 90km/h
I just wonder if i change them into 6 piston calipers front, 3 piston rear would it be safer at higher speed ?, normally i ride around 80-100 and some area up to 120-130....

Re: 4 piston caliper vs 6 piston caliper
Clearly kilometers per hour, and clearly NOT a PCX. 130 kph? A balls-to-the-wall Forza?
Better brakes might help, but extreme vigilance (with a dose of paranoia) is probably your best friend.

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: 4 piston caliper vs 6 piston caliper
I believe they would be overkill. As far I remember you run dual disc brakes with dual 4 piston calipers at the front - but can't remember the disc size. Nevertheless, they should be more than adequate.
CBR600Fs which are more than capable bikes with double (250kmph ish if I remember correctly) top speed, 60% more weight and very good braking have the same dual disc dual 4 pot calipers setup. The diameter of the discs is more important than the number of pots. But your setup is already overkill for the PCX. Even if it has quite a lot more power than stock.

Re: 4 piston caliper vs 6 piston caliper
My disc is 220mm though.....same size as the stock disc so in my case 240mm or 260mm disc would give me better result

Re: 4 piston caliper vs 6 piston caliper
I'm currently running 260mm disc with EBC sintered pads and steel braided line. It is more than fine on this scooter. Recently I have been working on a few friends bikes and brought them on a test ride. Man I was scared to death by the stock braking system compared to mine.
