Take a ride around Lincoln Park and spend some time at the Zoo.
Are you going to add any bags or a box or windshield or anything to it?

You might want the #18 seat I bought but promptly switched back to stock because I like the freedom to move around and not a cradled style seat. Drive your ass over here and take it

Take a long hard look at the Honda FORZA ABS. It beats the pants off the PCX !
I wanted a PCX until I took the time to learn about the FORZA.

True apart from fuel consumption, turning radius and general grin factor.JetPilot wrote:Take a long hard look at the Honda FORZA ABS. It beats the pants off the PCX !
Despite being significantly slower I reckon I had more enjoyment from the PCX just meandering down small country back roads.
The Forza was faster, better able to cope with my commute but I was far less inclined to just go out and ride it on my days off.
In fact I only ever rode the Forza twice for leisure purposes and both times it was to get out the house because the wife was doing my head in.
My Forza is having a compulsory lay-off just now and I don't miss using it at all.

Re: Can't Wait....
A Ural is a Russian Motorcycle. . .quite a history. Good description of the company on Wiki. Had it's origin with a BMW design and was known for "side car" utility. The company has evolved over the past 75 years and gone through several changes of ownership/control and location. I remember them during the '70s but it was rare when you would see one on this side of the pond.
Re: Can't Wait....
Ural has some interest down here for their sidecars and flashy paint schemes.
But at $15,000AUD for a 750cc, they aren't going to move out the door very fast.

They have a Ural with a sidecar in the showroom...wicked cool. As for the seat...i have mine done at my shop (our guys do custom auto interiors!) As for the Forza...I dont want one. As for the rest....this is my 2nd PCX and you guys have graciously walked me through everything i could want to know about one....i love wrenching on my own toys!!! Thanks Maddie Dog...Great forum! (Look for a donation very soon!)
Re: Can't Wait....
It'll be 3 weeks this Tuesday since ordering mine. The wait is bloody killing me.
I too almost went for the Forza but almost £2000 more for a couple of extra Horse Power wasn't worth it.

Re: Can't Wait....
It's not just the price of the Forza. . .it's the extra (400+ lbs.) of weight as well. If it's going to be your only ride and you need a highway machine then for what you get compared to the Burgman 200 it's worth a look. But if you just need an "around town or city" machine the PCX probably makes more sense because it's lighter to move around and park, better MPG, and who needs to go over 50 on city streets? Well. . .maybe the fast and furious do.
Oh. . .and another thing. . .the valve maintenance on the Forza is once every 16,000 miles to check the shims. At 2,000 miles a year it would take 8 years and by then you may want the next latest and greatest and leave the shim check up to the dealer you trade it in to.

Its around double the horsepower and is the difference between being capable of keeping up with traffic on 70mph roads and being a mobile roadblock for trucks.
Plus the Forza has much better storage and comfort.
If all you need is a city runabout the PCX will do the job just fine, but if you will regularly use 70mph roads the PCX just isn't enough.

Re: Can't Wait....
8.6 kw for PCX - £2699
10.5 kw for Forza - £4399
A big difference in price, for my circumstances could not justify paying the extra, however I appreciate others have different needs.

Re: Can't Wait....
You guys in the UK need to specify Forza 125 or 300.
I can see a few of you aren't talking about the same Forza.

Sorry, was comparing 125 versions of each.
Forza 300 is £4699 with 19kw, £2000 more than a PCX, so not much of a fair comparison.
