I bet that will bring some decent miles per gallon. Must have shed 50 pounds in rims and rubber.

Re: new thai style
I would love to know what that rides like. Harsh? Squirly? Skittish? All of the above?

Well at least it will keep the mosquitoes away.homie wrote:Imagine the burnout you could get with that

What was the point of that? Maybe he wanted to swap the IRC's out for City Grips and his wife told him he couldn't until the IRC's are worn out.

I suspect they are not OEM wheels, but aftermarket ones.ribanold wrote:good evening, gentelman"s

Re: new thai style
Yeah it's a street racer style around here max out the motor and shed excess weight. I hear it used to be a big scene a few years ago, hundreds of bikers blocking off streets for illegal racing. Google "vanz boys" for more info.homie wrote:I bet that will bring some decent miles per gallon. Must have shed 50 pounds in rims and rubber.

Re: new thai style
I just did some quick digging and found one PCX using 17x1.4" and 17x1.6" rims with unspecified tyre size.
The other PCX had 17x1.6" and 17x1.85" rims with 60/80-17 and 70/80-17 "V-Rossi" tyres.
No idea what bike the wheels are sourced from, or how it goes for fender and hugger clearance as of yet.

Re: new thai style
homie, PCX 125 burnout? That's just Nuts! Off the meds?
I'm not sure skinny wheels are the way to roll, no matter if they be gold, white
or flaming red. (It looks silly cool though)

Re: new thai style
You can't get skinny wheels and tyres in Aus anyhow, so it's not even a consideration. But there's some info there for those who feel brave.
Re: new thai style
Emmet from BikerzBits tells me those wheels are for the Honda Wave and similar:

Which exists in the UK. So you guys can get some Wave wheels and run them backwards on your PCX. Or import the spoked version from Thailand somehow.

Re: new thai style
Just an observation.
The wheels look similar to the BMX bike my son had when he was 15 years old . Looks like they just threw a PCX body kit on top. Not my cup of tea , Sorry
