This shows the northeast edge of the fort area and sloping grade of what's left of the land. Much of the ground was excavated years ago when a railway for trolley cars existed. Now quite grown in, there was once water access behind the tree cover for shallow draft boats. It makes a great hill for kids to slide on during the Winter.
