Traded in one of our PCXs (the 2013 one) for a New-Old-Stock 2016 Forza ABS - only 4 miles on it!
DW wanted a heavier bike as she didn't like being pushed by sidewinds on her PCX and was more used to her old Kawasaki Vulcan!
Had to do a 370 mile round trip to pick it up, but well worth the trip to Mobile, Alabama to get a deal that was about $600 less than we had seen from any dealers here in Florida. Very happy with deal, and got a great trade in price for my dear old PCX - I now inherit her 2016 PCX, so technically I get a newer bike too!
I don't now if you are doing two-up riding, but the Forza is just fine for it. The Admiral loves watching the world go by and not worrying about much of anything.
Congratulations - I'm reasonably sure you will be quite happy.
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

but please, don't delete anybody, no matter how badly they deserve deleting
Not doing 2up. I ride the PCX and she’ll ride the Forza. We both ride together and I love the PCX, so now we’re both happy! We both had a solo ride on the Forza tonight and it’s a great ride. She’s a happy wife (and you know what they say about that!!)
It will be really interesting to get her reaction after a couple of months use. She should be happy with the "bigger bike" feel. I guess it is possible not to love the PCX's "flickability", but of the two machines, that is what I prefer about riding the little guy.
To each his/her own - congratulations, and may your new solution give you some fun years of riding together.

Actually she is more used to the bigger bikes. Last bike she had before the PCX was a Kawasakii Vulcan 850. She rode several Harleys and dirt bikes some time ago. It is me who has little experience with bigger bikes and thus for me the PCX is just right.
Limey...surprised. A Forza, for your Wife, very cool. Congrats!!
Singing this - "Betcha by Golly Wow it's the One that She's Been Waiting For Forever...."
It's like New, is New! Keep yer eye on her though... She can get up 'n go, and be gone in the bat of an eye. Maybe you should get a side car. Hop in and let her rip!
Just have fun you two!
Whoa, wait! What happened to the photo?

I'll get round to the photo soon! She's lovin' it. She actually was thinking about getting a Harley Freewheeler (trike) but when riding it she just couldn't get used to the no-leaning when going round corners. Said she didn't feel safe - borne out, I suppose, by a local lady recently who was killed on one when taking it for a test drive - lost control on a corner and hit a tree.
We did a 60 mile ride on Friday and loved it. 60 was the fastest she wanted to go, so was just right My PCX did that just fine, even with all 220 lbs of me perched on it.... :B

That Forza will still look cool 20 years from now!
The pics give a good contrast between the "jump on it and go experience" of the PCX vs the "flight check ritual" of the Forza. Either way it's all good . . ..
Thanks for the pics Limey. The new family member is Beautiful! Tell Mama, enjoy and good luck with it! And....Your '16 PCX still looks brand New! Proving you are Loving parents Ride On!

fantastic thread Limey, loving this and of course you have given us photos of the PCX and Forza side by side
you have made it real easy for us to see one alongside the other which is the first time I have had the chance to so easily see one and the other
Now that I can compare these two Legends .......... just look how similar they are!! actually ..... what is the difference? ok one is 150cc the other is 300cc I get that but what else?
the whole styling and design looks pretty much the same to me

Well, from the back the size difference is quite evident:
Thanks for posting side by side pics. I often wonder if I wouldn't have been happier buying a pcx rather than a Forza. I'd love to hear a future report on how they do side by side in different riding situations.
