finding led brake bulb
Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent replacement led tail bulb, one that flashes for a second would be good. Ive seen a couple on ebay but ive heard some are real good and others awful...

I went with a full replacement LED e-marked brake taillight from EBay (seller from Taiwan) for $75 shipped. Best results as LED bulb replacement is a hit and miss (more miss than hit)

Presumably so that he can stop global warming.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I was thinking the exact same thing just the other day.
Easter weekend and it was snowing instead of pissing down.
WTF is that all about?

PCXDemon. I don't have a photo of it but this is the seller
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LED-Motorcyc ... 33792ca7be
I got the clear version (not this smoked one) and it's as bright as standard. However, to fit them to the bike involves taking the a lot of the back end out to get access to the screws that attach the tail lights to the rear side panels.

Only reason in want to swap it is a have a 30cm led strip to go on the grab rail for visibility. Figured replacing incandescent with led should offset the power usage of the led strip? I know nothing about electrics tho!
Re: finding led brake bulb
I have an LED brake light replacement on my F650 that flashes before going solid. Can't remember the manufacturer at the moment but it would be nice if there was something similar for the lil' PCX.

For a straight up bulb replacement this one looks like it would work: http://www.amazon.com/Putco-Hyper-Flash ... putco+1157

The fitting doesn't look right. That looks like a push in one. I'm sure it's a round fitting on the bulbs. Bloody expensive and a crappy review as well.

Re: finding led brake bulb
Agreed, that bulb looks terrible! I'm sure it's an offset push in bulb...
Re: finding led brake bulb
Well i know what bulb to get...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-PCX-125 ... vi-content
but not finding it in led with offset pins, think its not worth the bother so ill just stick the run lights on and im sure the battery will be fine. Ive used heated grips all winter with no problems after all!
