I had a Stella, will not buy another Genuine.Yorkie150 wrote:chinese lambretta cheap copy ?
The "Stella" . . . I wanted one as well but after reading about the electrical problems and deteriorating wiring harnesses I decided not. Then they came out with a new improved version and that had electrical problems at the "get go". It's too bad. They really did have that "P200" design characteristics but just weren't reliable. I ended up getting a Genuine Roughhouse and it ran really well for about 5K miles. After that it started losing performance and needed a new bore kit. I ran it WOT most of the time. That said, along the way, the carb floats were giving me problems so I put a shutoff valve on the fuel line. I later traded it in . . ..I had a Stella, will not buy another Genuine.
The "Royal Alloy" history is a bit complicated and multi-national. It will be interesting to see how this new model plays out for Genuine here in the U.S..chinese lambretta cheap copy ?
