Cruising in the countryside of Portugal

I bought my PCX mainly for daily work, but been discovering the joys of longer rides.
In preparation for a journey that will cross the entire country (luckily it's not that big of a country) I've been doing some bigger rides than my daily 20/30kms.
This one was 350kms total.

It is probably one of the more scenic and beautifull journeys one can do. You enjoy the mountain and the road near the river. Awesome photos

Two suggestions:

1. If you will be riding after sundown add some external spotlights with a switch on your handlebars. You can plug them directly into your battery. Roads get very tricky when riding at night.

2. Consider upgrading your wind shield to a taller one. The PCX is a great bike, and around town it can't be beat for gas mileage and maneuverability. However, out on the road there are a lot of "loose" items that can come your way, such as big bugs, pebbles from passing cars, windblown debris, etc. A taller windshield ca deflect much of that.

Other than those suggestions I would say enjoy the ride, and use the ride to determine your next improvements.

The tour will consist of 7 days, so I don't intend in cruising during night:
1 day until the beginning of the old national road (N2 road), 4 to 5 days of doing the main road and then 1 or 2 going back home. Also I will carry a tent and bag and will do some camping by night (be it official camping spots or wild camping). The idea is to take it slow and know a bit more about the interior of the country.

My girlfriend has the medium sized windscreen, but I get all the wind directly in my mouth with it. It would have to be the tallest one and aesthetically I don't feel it looks good in this scooter.

Being a freelance photographer, not much work in these covid times, so I have to do it on the cheap and avoid going abroad.
And better do it while my body still can handle it, even though years of lugging cameras and backpacks did a number on my back.
