Post by Filiperelvas »

Hello I have a Honda pcx 125 and when I would full throttle the bike would bog out i had put new variator front pulley and new belt as the belt was ruined and it didn’t fix the problem if I was going up a hill if I tried to full throttle it would instantly bog or if I tried to do a sharp U turn it would bog out and sometimes even turn off I would have to start it up again , the other day I turned the keys and no lights turned on nothing I charged up battery I went down to my local shop 5 mins away from my home and when I was going to leave the shop the bike didn’t tun on no lights nothing so I walked it home charged up the battery again and now even with battery charged when I turn bike on lights don’t work and nothing else . If anyone could help me find what’s the issue would be great

There are a lot of things that can cause these problems, but before we get into them would you mind going into your profile and adding your location. This will help because climate affects bikes. For example, if you live in a wet environment you may find that the switches have moisture in them.

I am guessing that you live in a country where there is a different requirement between the 125cc and 150cc licensing. In the United States we don't have the 2015 125cc PCX. After 2011 only the 150cc model was imported.

All of this being said, check your battery connections...and have the battery stress tested. It may have reached the end of its life and can't hold a charge.
