Which Red MSR bottle
Which red MSR fuel bottle should I get? What would be big enough to get me 1 - 2 miles finding a gas station?

Re: Which Red MSR bottle
I would think a 1 liter bottle would do trick. 1 l = 33 oz. 33oz/128 oz= .25 gal x 80 mpg+/- = 20 miles
. Nice and compact and should get you out of trouble. Great idea, Thanks

Re: Which Red MSR bottle
What am I missing here?? I have a 2013 PCX 150, and I get 100 mpg, 114 mpg if I ride at 45 mph. I am pretty sure that the newer 150cc PCX would still get 100 mpg. Therefore .25 is 1/4 of 100mpg, which means at minimum you should get 25 miles from that little MSR bottle. Unless you are riding across the desert, there should be a gas station within that range. (Remember to rotate the old gas out of the bottle ever so often, though.)
When I am riding in areas that are unfamiliar to me, I put a 1 gallon gas container in my bucket, just in case. That will give me another 100 miles, minimum. Still, I have only needed that container once, because there are gas stations ALMOST everywhere.
