2015 PCX 150 (frame number KF18-1004***) with idle-stop function.
78,000 kilos / 49,000 miles.
maintained frequently / spark plug (suspected problem is ignition) changed every 15-20 thou kilos / 10-14 thou miles.

Bike has been entirely reliable until now.
Couple of months ago after being heavily rained on all night, engine would not start.
Starter mechanism was spinning the engine but it would not fire up.
Month later same rain same problem but eventually bike fired up and ran without problem.
This morning after heavy rain all night bike fired up immediately but died soon after and now the engine stammers (miss-fires?) and cuts out if not revved constantly while stationary.
Problem only occurs after hours of heavy rain.
I am poor with vehicle electrics, but do all maintenance myself and can learn quickly once I have advice.
Rather not give in and pay a pro'.
Advice please. Thank you.
Thoughts on things other than "ignition" problems welcome.
Pro' mech' recently suggested a de-carbon spray through the throttle body.
Thought that unnecessary with modern fuel and fuel injection tech', though.

Left in with a pro mechanic this time.
Apparently it seems to be fuel tank related.
I see no one had any ideas about it thus far.
Will update as fully as possible when I get the bike.

It was the coil.
Though I do my own routine maintenance, I do not a have pro's skill for problem analysis and am not skilled with electrics.
Cost me 11,000 yen, about maybe 110 USD, including labour for a new one fitted.
Less than expected.
Though I have just spent 55,000 yen on a 100% parts refresh for the CVT at 84,000 kilometres, about 52,000 miles.
Though I do my own routine maintenance, I do not a have pro's skill for problem analysis and am not skilled with electrics.
Cost me 11,000 yen, about maybe 110 USD, including labour for a new one fitted.

My 2014 JF57 with 82.00Km is experiencing the same behaviour you describe and after a deep inspection last weekend I have identified a broken pin on the ignition coil (it was just bent before) plus the spark plug top cap broken.
Parts has been ordered today and soon I could let you know the outcome if could be of same help here.

Parts arrived and installed, I doubt will show again the same issue experienced before but only a ride under rain will confirm, but I'm confident should be resolved.

Tested today under rain, no issue at all and has as expected a more fast response
