Want to join the community 2014 Forza nss300

Post by Danevineyard »

I got my 2014 Forza 300 about 9 months ago. It only had about 1800mi on it. I absolutely love this bike. I live in southern oregon but I have family in Sacramento. Since I've had my Forza, I've gone to visit my family twice. Along with all my other trips, I now have about 7500 miles on the odo. I've changed the drive belt, put new pirelli angel tires, and done two oil changes with oem honda hp4m oil. I've heard of these scooters going 100k+ miles and fully intend to get this sort of use out of mine.
Anyone have any tips on other maintenance I can do or things I should keep an eye on to maximize the life of my bike?

my 2014 honda Forza 300 has 192,000 km on it (119,000 miles)

Just keep changing belts, oil and tires and brake pads I have done nothing else. No valve checks, it keeps clumsy mechanics away from the engine.

Ride slowly. It is a 300 almost. Don't try to ride 80 mph. I ride 100 kmph fastest.

I've noticed that it seems to run really efficiently right around 7k rpm. Which winds up keeping me between 60-65mph. So I do my best to hover right there when I'm on the freeway. I'll go higher only briefly when passing a slow truck or sometimes as I merge onto the freeway in order to match the flow of traffic. Pretty much for the sake of minimizing wear and tear. It's good to know I'm on the right track, thank you.
