Leather seat covers

Post by Alibally »

I saw this on ebay .http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390641289696
They have various colours including carbon vinyl. It's not a seat but just the cover that gets stapled on. The only thing is that the humps still on it. I am going to contact them to see if it has holes in them for the hump bolts or you make the yourself. If the cover hasn't the holes you could mod the seat pan to get rid of the hump.

Ouu, Ali you're onto something cool! It Does "look like" a Seat (on their site). Good you're asking that #1 question. Another might be it's "stick power" the No slip/slide forward. 8)

No use for Scotland.
Or anywhere else that has rain.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I got a reply from the seller. They come without the holes for the hump so a humpadectomy is possible. You would obviously have to mod the seat base though.

Wow fast info! So am I understanding this right Ali? If I order:
1) I pick vinyl or leather, 2) color or colors 3) & request the 2 fitted pieces for my 125's "stock" seat (seat and hump). Do I then staple over/around existing seat/hump stock covers.....or remove stock and fit 2 new?
(Just some added info, in U.S dollars, about $77.00 plus ?)

That's what it looks like. Contact the seller to verify this though. I might go for one myself once I come back from my holiday. Can't use the spending money on bike parts or it would be death by bangey.

This cover "does" gets stapled over our pre-existing covers, wonder how easy that would be? How much staple room is left under there? I really like the look of the white/black and I think I see white stitching too? It's another choice for the PCX, and not badly priced.
