Checking to see if any one knows if the matte black finish was/is sold in the US. I know they are available in Thailand. I am looking at one nearby and it appears to be matte black in the photos. The flyscreen looks the same. I have a feeling this is a repaint job or an aftermarket set of plastics like found on one of our vendor's site.
Might have to give the bike extra scrutiny for evidence of damage.

As far as I know, the only colors in the states have been red, white, and black. No flat black.

Thanks, Maddie! Just as I thought. Still suspicious of a repaint on such a new bike.

You don't have to do a repaint, just wrap it:

It is much cheaper, easier and it will protect original paint.

It might be plastidip too -- lots of people plastidip bikes or cars since it can be easily removed.

Ok, I didn't know
Then it makes the modification harder, but not impossible
Front brake caliper could be repainted and for stripes he can use Puig stickers:

Not the same, but similar. It still would be better to have original, but I think it can be a nice alternative.
