Hooking up a givi boxtop with brake light
Just purchased a Givi boxtop with brake light for my 2013 PCX 150 and would like to know how you hook it up?

^ That's about the simplest form. Tap into the existing wires and add an inline fuse for safety.

I had mine done and have since taken it off a couple of times and done the wiring. Here's the connections you need with one caveat. I am basing this on a 2010 PCX in Thailand, thus I don't know if the color codes are still the same. They should be the same for the GIVI wires as I just bought the box last year.
Remove the brake light boot and tap into the following wires.
Connect the blue wire with the green wire (Land/Ground).
Connect the red wire with the yellow & green wire (Brake)
Leave the brown wire alone.

Re: Hooking up a givi boxtop with brake light
just finished installng mine on my 2013 PCX150. Looks great and works well. Was a little hesitant about drilling holes into the plastic but it was easy and harmless. I used a 3/4 inch [roughly 19mm] bit instead of the 17mm bit recommended for the mounting bracket. A little bigger than required but the larger holes made installing the mounting brackets quick! Looks great! This post was a big help because the instructions for wiring the brake light were very vague. Thanks.

When I've done this on a bike I've made up a mini-loom to go between the rear light socket and the loom plug. That way the loom remains undamaged
