Insurance rip off
Just bought a 125 pcx to commute on contacted insurers to add it on policy with my 750gsxr slingshot greedy b@@@@@@s want £70 for six weeks that's left on policy .been quoted £71 fully comp for twelve months with new policy with no no claims discount by another insurer. Don't like being ripped off now not sure if I lock up pcx for six weeks and use my no claims on a new joint policy .anybody had similar problems ?
Re: Insurance rip off
Sounds fairly standard.
When I changed from the PCX to the Forza I had to pay £30 for less than a month.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
Re: Insurance rip off
I've just had to pay £30 "administration fee" for changing my address....£30 for what?, printing out a new document and sending it through the bloody post?
I've also have to fork out £20 to renew my license, honestly, the amount of bureaucratic shite one has to deal with these days is beyond a fucking joke.
I'm starting to feel like this guy..

dont charge admin fees as you do most of the work yourself
took my vespa off the policy and added the burgman to it and got a tenner back

Re: Insurance rip off
Think u have come off well. I moved house in January. Insurance wanted £200 quid for car insurance and £400 quid extra for the pcx after already paying the 400 quid premium! Must have lived in a very favourable post code previously!
