Spring in North Louisiana

Post by logepoge1 »

Well you can now tell it is springtime in louisiana. So glad I got rid of my black car two weeks ago and got a white SUV because otherwise I would have to wash it everyday.

Yeah it's a nice dusting here. This is the compromise since we don't get snow. We get pollen

I can't believe how much pollen accumulates in such a short time around here!

I know right. And right now we just have a high pollen count. Up here on Friday the pollen count is maxed out at very high. Not looking forward to that.

Oh yes. We in Atlanta are bracing for it to hit us shortly. The yellow crap is pine pollen. Our trees are about a week or so away from it I think. When ours hit there is no safe place. I am still cleaning last year's stuff out of storage rooms, bike storage boxes, basement corners and even our closets. The 90 day a/c filters last a week. The roads get a yellow glaze, and when it finally rains the yellow water pools everywhere! Yes, Spring in the South. So.....aaacho!
