Thailand over the last year has seen an expansion in motorcycles offered to consumers. Big bikes are on the increase. But while bigger bikes offer more in speed and sometimes rider comfort than the usual scooter, they do lack certain facilities which have become essential in Thailand. Of course, a big bike owner can install panniers usually at the price of a scooter, but with it comes the increase in width which leads to a cumbersome machine in the mayhem of Bangkok traffic.
Scooters on the other hand are designed to get you from A to B in a reasonable amount of comfort through the city, offering storage for your lunch box or laptop. However, there is a scooter that not only offers power to get away from the lights and touring to rival its bigger brothers, but stores enough for a weekend away under its seat!
The Honda Forza has been around for a while in Thailand and not only has a huge following here, but globally too. We’ve got our hands on a 2014 Honda Forza to see what all the fuss is about and to discover if it offers anything over a bigger bike?
