I just found a CDI box (rev limiter increase) for my 2011 PCX 125 through jrmotor. It's only $37 but coming from Thailand. Does anyone have experience with something like this? Since I've installed my windscreen I'm constantly at my current rev limit and just dumping gas.

Re: CDI box
Daytona vario with 12g rollers for 80mph top speed on a pcx 150. Should be over 75mph for a 125 I would think.

Re: CDI box
Ok, I'll check those out. Maybe a vario issue and not a rev limiter

Re: CDI box
It is your rev limiter but he is saying you can get longer gearing and more top speed with the Daytona.

Re: CDI box
Alright, well then I wasn't completely off base. Of course the next question, or series of scenarios, will be price points and reliability... Has anyone messed with the rev limiter on the PCX? I had a Daytona vario in my old scootz and it worked great. I'm just not trying to break the bank one way or the other

Re: CDI box
you dont want to mess about with the rev limiter until you at least replace valve springs
