Three Wheeling
More 3's coming on board. This one called the Yamaha's Tricity. Two wheels upfront, one in rear. Not your basic trike as you've known it, but still called a trike.
I enjoyed my MP3 (trike) for awhile, but it was way too heavy (a Beast, as it's said). Stability and ride was fabulous. So much different than my PCX ride. As Expected. Piaggio stopped shipping the MP3 to the states, for several reasons (& at this point, I don't care, so I won't elaborate).
But.....now this little trike, the Tricity is coming round as a family of trikes, says Yammy to Motorcycle dot com. Take a read of this article, then click on the "blue words" within the 1st paragraph. They're aiming at all walks in life, excuse me...I mean, scoot rides in life. Commuting, leisure, utility and sports style riding.
Been real curious about this Tricity. I want to ride one!! It's also (imo) Better Looking than the Bulky MP3. I say....Yammy, Bring it On!

Poor photo sorry (will look for better)

Re: Three Wheeling
Tricity 125 already on the road here and rumours of a 250 and 400 next year.
Red looks the best
Peugeot Metropolis also available here

Re: Three Wheeling
Oh nice, a 250 (the sweet spot) Tricity. Hope it gets here by next year. The Peugeot looks like it has smaller wheels (twelves?) and it "looks" heavier than the Tricity. Is it? Reminds me of the MP3 too. Have you ridden either one?

Re: Three Wheeling
Okay, I know. I messed up, and found it "All By Myself...."
THIS: I created two "Three Wheel" threads in two different places (one right Here, the other over at Other Vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.)
I will rationalize my oversight this way,
That my faux pas is not as bad as first thought. When understood, read and viewed this way:
"This Topic thread" is about three wheel Vehicles with NO Roof over their bodies,
"The other Topic thread"....you guessed it, Have a Roof over their bodies.
TaDah!!
Hmm...did I just wiggle outta that one? Or am I still in puppy palace?

Re: Three Wheeling
I think it is a wonderful idea! My sister is in a wheelchair, but I don't think she can reach down to connect the necessary hardware. Still, if she wanted to go with us when we went for a walk, this would be great. However, I noticed that it looks like it is only sold in Europe, yet it was developed by a company in the United States.

Re: Three Wheeling
Leaning three wheelers like the TriCity make more sense than the over complicated gyro set up of the Lit Motors C1 as we move toward fully enclosed, high efficiency commuter bikes.

CanAm Spyders are selling like hot cakes. And Honda already has the DCT trans. These would be a favorite for our Wounded Warriors.

Re: Three Wheeling
Seen today on Facebook
You wanna ride? Here's another three wheeler. I'm a big fan of these inventors.
"They Make This Happen" for those less fortunate.
7 Wheels is all you need to get rolling (oh, and a wee widdle bit of cash and helmet!

Can't see the video? is it just a white box? then just tap your screen inside of the box and the video should appear (it just did for me when I previewed this post)
