Recently I had noticed a rubbing noise coming from the real wheel when approaching standstill, like last few feet before stop. The sound is like a tire rubbing against the wheel fender, but that's not the case. I also had heard it when leaning in a curve without much throttle and there is rear suspension movement. I had not concerned much, but today I arrived home and smelled like hot rubber, rubber burn smell from rearwheel/CVT area.
I have no issue with acceleration, top speed, MPG. Bike is performing as usual except for that detail. Mine had about 3,000 miles.
Any one had presented similar experience.
Thanks!

Sit on the scooter, engine off, in your driveway. Slowly walk forward while a helper watches the rear tire. Carefully look for anything contacting the tire.
Something might be rubbing that you can't see yourself because without weight on the scooter, the rear suspension is not compressed enough to rub.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try in next couple of weeks as I have it stored now. FYI my scooter is stock, no modifications.
