Advise on changeing tires(tyres)

Few months ago, when I stopped by another guy who riding motorcycle too, he told me that my tires need to be replaced.
However, I just didn't bothered to change it because I need to go back to Macau. That means my PCX need to stand still for few months.
Now, I have come back and the raining season is coming around San Diego. (Roads are getting slippery)
Therefore, I need some advise on the new tires...

I bought my bike used and I believe the previous owner did not replace it.
They are still the stock IRC tires. Now, my bike had run for almost 8200 miles.
I can feel the slippery when I riding through some wet surface.

Can you guys kindly give me some advise on which brand should I order (or replace a wider one, lol)??
Or, I stayed with the stock one???

Size and flavor, that is up to you...
Where will you buy your tires from?(what sizes do they have in stock?)
I would go with Michelin or Pirelli, not IRC.
