So, I've been riding for about a year now and I love the PCX, but after every rain storm, I dry off my seat with a towel, then cram the towel under the hump in the seat (to absorb the excess water that leaks out when sitting on the seat) but I'm still getting a wet ass and it's driving me crazy. Anyone else struggling with this problem and if so, how did you solve it?
Thanks.

Re: Wet Ass
I wear waterproof trousers so my Khyber stays arid.
The only real solution is to modify or change the seat.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Or, you could try to cover it when the forecast calls for rain... might be a cheaper option

Re: Wet Ass
I always get wet ass from it too... I haven't found a solution either, but if I cram the towel up there and leave it for 10-20 seconds it seems to soak more out and keep me drier.
I like the hump, but that wetness is the main motivator for me to get a new seat, which I've been considering lately. It's not good to walk into work with wet pants.

Re: Wet Ass
Im dry as got my hump removed and seat recovered in marine grade vinyl as was done at a marine seat trimming shop. And I wear cordura lined waterproof trousers with armoured knees that I got from eBay from a UK suppier that are brilliant. I wear lightweight sailing boots when its really wet.

Re: Wet Ass
Anybody try this seat cover?

I've read the posts about rain not hurting the scoot, just seems the upholstry might last a bit longer if protected? I'd love to have a small cover to keep with me for when I have to leave the bike out in the elements all day. A full-size cover seems a bit cumbersome, plus have to wait so as not to melt it on the muffler.

Re: Wet Ass
I would buy a tube of black silicone caulking compound and put a small bead around the hump.
It is very flexible and being black no one would even see it.

Re: Wet Ass
Good idea, except I splurged and bought the humpless seat
Mostly concerned about protecting my investment I guess.
