Post by danieljw »

Has anybody ever compared their standard OE Honda pads with the likes of EBC? i think the Honda pads are 'ok' but I assume there made fairly cheaply...

After reading an article in German magazine "Scooter & Sport" I changed mine to Lucas TRW, as the article said that these give you a better and more progressive feel and also slightly better stopping power. The other alternative is Brembo, which costs a tenner less then the TRWs with similar effects.

Whilst braking is now smoother and more progressive, its still not miraculous. If its worth the money for you only you can tell, I prefer the alternative to the originals and their "block of wood" feeling.

Its a PDF for download from their online shop. Only cost me 0.89 Euros, PM me your email and I can send it to you. Its in German so if you need an online translation tool to understand it, only believe 50% of what you read.
