Home-made Highway Bars and other mods
This is V 1.0 of the highway bars my friend attached to his PCX. Personally I don't like the look too much, but it is his bike. What I like is the coloured touch to the exhaust protector and the seat. The wheels are just sprayed silver, looks not bad. He got the transmission "enhanced", too. From standstill his 125 goes off like my 150, but she runs rougher and gulps gas at a higher rate (+20%).

- Detail of the work. The pins are still in the seat, but he is riding alone most times.

That looks pretty nice, thanks for sharing. But I have to wonder, don't these bars make the PCX way too wide? I was in Phuket a few months ago and did some riding on a smaller Honda scooter, and from my experience I'd rather have a narrow scooter for the traffic there than an extra wide one!

Actually, the bars extend not further than the mirrors. But you have to be careful when passing cars waiting at a traffic light, especially near high sidewalks.

Wow, those stick way out. It almost looks like they'd grind when deep in a corner.
Still cool though. They'd be awesome for comfort on long trips.
