A fond farewell to the PCX

Post by Lingwood »

Well, it finally happened! Passed my Mod1 and Mod2 motorcycle tests and I'm now the proud owner of a CBR250R :D

So it's a fond farewell to my beloved PCX125 which I've been commuting to work on for the past 18 months, with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Did my training and tests on a CB650F, with a couple of days on a CBF125 too, and compared to these the PCX is still a quality little machine ;)

So as soon as I put it through it's MOT it'll be winging it's way to a new owner :(

Going to miss this site too with all the technical advice and travelogues, well done to all involved ;)

All the best and happy riding,

Mark

I got a Honda CTX 700N DCT and still have my PCX. No need to quit this forum.

I didn't end up getting a PCX and I'm still on this forum. Happy riding!

I already owned a Triumph Thruxton when I bought my PCX.

If you can afford to keep it, I wouldn't sell it.

It's nice to have options.

Some folks find the manual transmission a bit weary in heavy commuting traffic. I would at least hang on to it a while.
