pcx125 same tyre size rear and front? and poll

hi there i am thinking changing my factory irc tyres with the michelin city grip
so far i read in this nice forum several proposals about tyres wider.

so the suggestion options are;

1. the stock size 100/90/14 rear and 90/90/14 front. michelin city grip
2. 120/70/14 rear and 100/70/14 front michelin city grip
3 140/70/14 rear and 120/70/14 front michelin city grip (requires slight mod ti fit the rear!)

and this is my thought.
what if we run the same size rear and front in a dimension lets say:120/70/14 rear and also 120/70/14 front!

do you believe that running the same size like is ok and safe?

Stick with the standard sizes and you can't go wrong.

If you do want to go ahead and fit the wrong tyres bear in mind that tyres which are front or rear specific should only ever be used on the intended wheel.

Incorrect tyre fitment is unsafe.
In the UK it can invalidate your insurance and can get you fines and licence points.
